ECOLOGICAL NICHE OF A SCORPION
Scorpions love to live in the ground, but also can be found in trees. They burrow in the sand and can be found under rocks. Because they often live in areas of 68-99 degrees Farenheit and are very sensitive to light, they need a place to be able to shield themselves. However, sometimes these deserts are freezing, so they need to burrow in the ground to keep warm. Scorpions thrive the most in these desert environments. One of the most common places for scorpions to be found near human settings is because the construction sites are digging into the soil, which is often where they are living.
Some of the places scorpions have been found are the forests of Brazil, British Columbia, North Carolina, and and even the Himalayas.
